El derecho de autor nace automáticamente desde que la obra se crea. No necesitas registrarla para que exista. Pero registrarla ante la DNDA crea evidencia legal de autoría con fecha oficial, lo que facilita enormemente la defensa en caso de plagio, uso no autorizado o infracción.
